If you are traveling to a different country, especially if you are going to land up at a city you have never been before than things can be a little intimidating for most of us. We would talk about my favorite city Florence in Italy. Florence makes you feel the sheer excitement of visiting a historic city but a greater fear of missing something.
You can surely just drop in but would a un-planned trip be fun? I think not, so its always wise to plan some things for your trip in advance. To help through I have tried to put together some tip which will help while you travel to Florence.
Weather in Florence
For weather Florence doesn’t tend to get too hot but it can get a bit colder.
In Florence July and August are the two warmest months of the year. You can experience a temperature between 70F-80F, mosquitoes can be an issue while it dips sown to 30F-40F in for the rest of the year and starts to rise a bit around April.
There are showers in Florence the wet months are January, February and March see about four inches for the month while September is the wettest with approx 12 inches of rainfall.

“Ufficio Informazioni” this is what they call the Tourist office in Florence. Get to one as soon as you reach Florence as they will provide you information on happening’s through out the week, place to eat, tourist attraction and much more.
These offices are spread around the city so you can locate one nearby easily and one more thing don’t forget to pick up your free Florence map while at one.

Get top line footwear as you are going to use them a lot and you will be really glad you did. Florence is a city you can enjoy only while walking.
Dealing with Florence Crowds
Florence is a crowded place and there are a lot of people especially in the peak travel time. So get used to walking in crowds and learn to make your way, Florence is full of great things to see and planning ahead of time would help you have pleasant tour.
